At the end of my graduation year, I worked as a level design intern at Emissive Games.
During this 4 months long internship I worked on a single level for the game Retro Rockets.
After analyzing the existing levels in the game, I began sketching new designs for the level I was tasked to create. I created this level from the ground up, creating whiteboxes in Unreal Engine and testing them before adding architecture and eventually doing some
set-dressing as well.
During this internship, I learned a lot about indie-game development and everything that comes alongside it.
I improved my level design skills and
learned to make level design decisions,
based on other levels within the same game.
